MaumCalc Privacy Policy

MaumCalc (hereinafter referred to as the 'Company') establishes and discloses the following privacy policy to protect the personal information of data subjects and to handle related grievances promptly and smoothly in accordance with Article 30 of the Personal Information Protection Act.
01Article 1 (Purpose of Processing Personal Information)
The Company processes personal information for the following purposes. The processed personal information will not be used for purposes other than the following, and if the purpose of use changes, necessary measures such as obtaining separate consent will be implemented.
1. Membership Management
Confirmation of intent to join, identification/authentication for service provision, maintenance/management of membership, prevention of illegal use, various notices/notifications, grievance handling, etc.
2. Provision of Goods or Services
Provision of calculator services, storage and management of calculation results, provision of customized content, service improvement, and new service development.
3. Grievance Handling
Identification of complainant, confirmation of complaints, contact for fact-finding, and notification of processing results.
02Article 2 (Items of Personal Information Processed)
The Company processes the following personal information items.
1. Membership Management
Required: Email, Password, Nickname Optional: Date of birth, Gender, Physical info (for BMI, etc.)
2. Automatically Collected Info
IP address, cookies, MAC address, service usage records, visit records, etc.
03Article 3 (Processing and Retention Period)
The Company processes and retains personal information within the retention/usage period according to laws or the period agreed upon when collecting personal information.
1. Member Information
Retained until membership withdrawal. However, if an investigation is underway, it is retained until the investigation is concluded.
2. Service Usage Records
Calculation records: 2 years Log records: 3 months Complaints/Disputes: 3 years
04Article 4 (Provision to Third Parties)
The Company processes personal information only within the scope specified in Article 1 and provides personal information to third parties only in cases corresponding to Articles 17 and 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act, such as consent of the data subject or special provisions of the law. Currently, the Company does not provide user's personal information to external parties in principle.
05Article 5 (Outsourcing of Personal Information Processing)
For smooth handling of personal information business, the Company outsources personal information processing as follows.

Supervision
The Company supervises the trustee to ensure safe processing of personal information.
06Article 6 (Rights of Data Subjects)
Data subjects may exercise rights such as viewing, correcting, deleting, or suspending processing of personal information at any time. You can exercise these rights through settings page or by contacting us via email.
07Article 7 (Safety Measures)
The Company takes administrative, technical, and physical measures to ensure the safety of personal information.
08Article 8 (Automatic Collection Devices)
The Company uses 'cookies' to provide individualized services. You can refuse to save cookies through browser settings.
09Article 9 (Privacy Officer)

10Article 10 (Amendment)
This Privacy Policy applies from the effective date. Changes will be notified through announcements 7 days prior to implementation.
